Susan Sarandon is disappointed that she didn't get her own action figure for new film Speed Racer.

"I'm not an action figure and I'm really upset," she confessed. "I've just found out I'm not one. I'm very sad and if you could put in a word for me, I'd like to have a cooking set or something."

Susan teamed up with John Goodman to play Mom and Pops for the Wachowskis' new film.

"I was a huge fan of The Matrix, they called me and they were so passionate and they had so many incredible ideas," she said.

"I didn't understand a thing they were talking about in terms of the technology so I thought 'why not?' lets go to Berlin for the summer and do something that we don't know what we're doing, that's cool."

"The story is such that we focused on each other and we had a grand cast," added John.

"It's a very rare occurrence where everybody gets along this well and really wants the movie to do well."

And both actors didn't mind having to act against a green screen for the special effects.

"It wasn't as disturbing as I thought," said Susan.

"It's your imagination and the people you're sharing a scene with and that's all that matters," said John. "I had dreams about great big green things attacking me!"
