Peter Andre says he has not tuned in to a single edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! which has featured his ex-wife Katie Price.

Katie, who has quit the jungle, previously told of her hopes that Peter would see "the girl he married" on the show.

But Peter, who has been looking after the couple's children, said he has not been watching the show and neither have the kids.

Writing in New! magazine, Peter said: "I'm loving having the kids at the moment and I'm already dreading the moment they have to go back to their mum's when Kate gets back from the jungle."

He continued: "I know everyone is desperate to know what I think of I'm A Celebrity this year, but I swear on my life I have not watched one episode.

"I know if I do watch it, people will ask me what I think all the time! The kids haven't seen it either, as it's on far too late for them.

"They go to bed at 7pm on school nights."

Katie previously took part in the show in 2004, when romance blossomed with Andre.

Peter added: "I did hear that Gino D'Acampo and Ant McPartlin said they are 'Team Pete' and Ant even had a T-shirt with that written on it. I had to laugh!"
